Certified Home Inspections and Highland, Indiana have been doing business for several years now! Our inspectors enjoy traveling West to Lake County, which now houses nearly 25,000 people. Highland is part of the Chicago Metropolitan area and North Township. Our inspectors have been proudly serving Highland, Munster, Schererville, and the Griffith area for over 11 years now. The downtown area is unique and always catches our eye because of the Mid-Century Modern style architecture that is present. We have inspected thousands of homes in subdivisions such as: Sandalwood, Homestead, Wicker Park(Frog Hollow), Brantwood, White Oak, Lakeside, Ellendale, too name a few!
Many of the existing homes in Highland are older, require special attention, and do take longer to inspect. We enjoy the challenge of inspecting these older homes and the dated systems within them.
Each home inspection we perform in Highland includes the following:
- Full 300-Point Property Inspection
- Video and / or Pictures for Samples
- On-Site Digital Reports
- Same-Day Emailed Reports
Our inspectors are trained and have extensive experience inspecting these older foundations, drainage systems, dated plumbing, dated electrical, identify Asbestos, Lead, perform Pest Inspections, and many other concerns that can lead to unhealthy or unsafe living conditions. We have inspected homes built in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s all over Highland, IN in the past 10 years. Home-buyers are usually appreciative of our thorough inspections and report findings which enable them the opportunity to uncover hidden repairs/expenses and take appropriate action with the sellers before they take ownership of their property.
The key is to uncover these hidden expenses and repairs before they sign on the dotted line. Upon completion of the home inspection, the buyer is entitled to “respond” to the seller and ask for compensation for repairs by countering with the lowering of the accepted offer or simply having the issues repaired by a qualified/licensed contractor of their choosing. Searching these defects out for the buyer is always a rewarding experience for us because we know our client is purchasing their new home with confidence and the peace of mind they deserve!
Whats Included With Every Inspection?

Every Inspector is InterNachi Certified and maintains an active license with the state of Indiana by completing annual continuing education as building codes do change over time.
