Certified Home Inspections has proudly provided quality and thorough residential and commercial property and building inspections to the residents of Lake County, more specifically Schererville, In., for the last ten years. Nicknamed the “Crossroads” and housing approximately 30,000 people, our home inspection crews find themselves keeping busy in this popular neck of the woods. Our inspectors are fond of Schererville because of it’s strategic location, reasonable housing costs, and high level of municipal services. We remember when it was voted one of the top 100 places to live in 2007 by Money Magazine. Schererville’s central location near the intersection of Hwy 30 ,41, and I94/Toll Rd. make it a great place to live for commuters traveling to Chicago.
Schererville has really grown rapidly throughout the years. Efforts are in the works to build a community center, recreation facility in Sherwood Park, the first assisted living facility, and a Toyota dealership. On a smaller scale, the design for the next section of Pensy Trail and a new playground in Elm Ridge Park are underway. It seems every time our home inspectors pull into town another amazing improvement has been made.
All our inspections in Schererville include the following features:
- Full 300-Point Property Inspection
- Video and / or Pictures for Samples
- On-Site Digital Reports
- Same-Day Emailed Reports
Certified Home Inspections has enjoyed a healthy working relationship with the residents and property owners of Schererville and the surrounding Lake County area. We try our best to inspect the buildings and homes as thoroughly and professionally as possible. Our inspectors take pictures of each and every defect we find, both big and small, and provide a written recommendation for repair under each photograph. A Summary Page is located at the end of each report and lists any major defects, maintenance repairs and improvements, and suggestions our inspectors might have for you. We recommend you meet us for a walk-thru and summarization at the end of the inspection to answer any questions concerning the condition of the property and our inspection findings on that day.
We hope Schererville continues to grow, make improvements within the community, and continues to welcome and trust Certified Home Inspections to be of help to potential home buyers and property owners.
